Races

The race start times can be found in the Regatta Announcement under point “7. Event Schedule”.

You can find the training times and all related information in the Race Regulations under the section TRAINING.

During the two race days, real-time results will be available on the website’s homepage.

Results from all editions will always be accessible on the Historical Results page.

The races always take place on Saturdays and Sundays. The specific dates for the current edition can be found on the website’s homepage and in the Regatta Announcement

Registrations must be made on the MySilverSkiff portal.

The categories for the KinderSkiff race are:
– Allievi B1, Allievi B2, Allievi C, and Cadetti (Female and Male)

The categories for the SilverSkiff race are:
– UNDER 17, UNDER 19, UNDER 23, UNDER 23 Lightweight, SENIOR, LIGHTWEIGHT, MASTER (A, B, C, D, E, F, G, H, I, J) (Female and Male)

The categories for the SilverVintage race are:
– Under 50 and Over 50 (Female and Male)

The distance of the course varies depending on the race:

SILVERSKIFF: Start in front of R.S.C. CEREA – turnaround at the Moncalieri islet – finish in front of R.S.C. CEREA, for a total distance of 11,000 meters.

KINDERSKIFF for Allievi B1 and B2: Start in front of R.S.C. CEREA – turnaround before the Isabella Bridge – finish in front of R.S.C. CEREA, for a total distance of 1,000 meters.

KINDERSKIFF for Allievi C and Cadetti: Start in front of R.S.C. CEREA – turnaround at the Lido Pool – finish in front of R.S.C. CEREA, for a total distance of 4,000 meters.

SILVERVINTAGE: Start in front of R.S.C. CEREA – turnaround at the Lido Pool – finish in front of R.S.C. CEREA, for a total distance of 4,000 meters.

In any case, it is mandatory to always follow all instructions from the safety personnel and race judges.

SILVERSKIFF
Accreditation is available on Friday from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM, and on Saturday from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM and from 3:00 PM to 6:30 PM at R.S.C. CEREA.

KINDERSKIFF and SILVER VINTAGE
Accreditation is available on Friday from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM, and on Saturday from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at R.S.C. CEREA.

On Saturday morning, if there is a queue, priority for accreditation will be given to the clubs participating in Kinderskiff and Silver Vintage.

To expedite the accreditation process, registered clubs are required to present a printed barcode, which can be found on the registration page on the event’s website.

Yes, all information regarding prizes for the race winners can be found in the Regatta Announcement.

In case of adverse weather conditions, the race may be postponed or canceled.

Decisions will be communicated promptly via SMS, on the official website, and on the WhatsApp channel.

Yes, it is possible to rent a single scull and corresponding oars at the same time as registering on the MySilverSkiff portal.

This service is subject to limited availability.

Yes, there will be a refreshment point at the Canottieri Cerea, located at the start/finish area. Both a restaurant and a snack bar offering sandwiches and beer will be available in the adjacent courtyard.

Logistics

Along the Valentino Avenue, there will be several portable toilets, which are accessible to individuals with disabilities.

Within the Canottieri Cerea facility, men’s restrooms will be located on the first floor, and women’s restrooms will be on the ground floor.

Accessible restrooms for individuals with disabilities will be available on the ground floor of the Canottieri Cerea, just before the women’s changing rooms.

The showers at Canottieri Cerea are located on the first floor for men and on the ground floor for women, with free access.

Pedestrian access to Valentino Park is allowed at any time through the Valentino Arch.

By car, the entrance camera at the park only monitors vehicle entry; it will not be operational from the Thursday before the races until the Monday following the races, between 6:00 AM and 10:00 PM, even if the illuminated sign indicates “NO ENTRY.”

Along Valentino Avenue by the river, only loading and unloading of boats is permitted. Vans and trailers must be parked in the designated areas, following the instructions provided by the volunteers on site.

To reach the Canottieri Cerea in Torino, located at Viale Virgilio 61, follow these directions:

By Car
– From Milan:
1. Take the A4 motorway towards Torino.
2. Continue on the A4 and exit towards Corso Giulio Cesare in Torino.
3. Follow Corso Giulio Cesare, then Corso Novara, Corso Regio Parco, and finally Corso Moncalieri to Viale Virgilio.

– From Genoa:
1. Take the A26 motorway and then the A21 towards Alessandria/Torino.
2. Continue on the A21 and then take the A6 towards Torino.
3. Enter Torino and follow signs for the city center, then towards Parco del Valentino and Viale Virgilio.

– From Other Directions:
1. Follow signs for Torino and then for the city center.
2. Reach Parco del Valentino and follow signs to Viale Virgilio.

By Train
– From Torino Porta Nuova Station:
1. Exit the station and walk to Piazza Carlo Felice.
2. Take tram line 9 towards “Torino Esposizioni.”
3. Get off at the “Valentino” stop.
4. Walk along Viale Virgilio to number 61.

– From Torino Porta Susa Station:
1. Take the metro (line M1) towards Lingotto and get off at “Nizza.”
2. From there, walk about 10-15 minutes or take bus 67 towards “Moncalieri” and get off at “Valentino.”
3. Walk along Viale Virgilio to number 61.

By Air
– From Torino-Caselle Airport:
1. Take the shuttle bus to Torino Porta Nuova Station.
2. Follow the directions above from the station to Viale Virgilio 61.

Local Public Transport
– You can use the GTT website (www.gtt.to.it) to plan your trip by bus, tram, or metro. Enter your starting point and destination address to get the quickest and most convenient route.
