The SilverSkiff never stops; its beating heart is the passion for rowing, and it is reflected in everything it does. As the race becomes more established, increasingly international, and as the KinderSkiff grows each year, we have decided to create another opportunity for sharing—a historic regatta: the SilverVintage.
The only condition for participating is to have boats built before 1992, the year of the SilverSkiff’s founding.
Since the first edition, held to celebrate the thirtieth anniversary of the SilverSkiff, the number of participants has been growing each year.
On the river, there is a leap back in time, with wooden oars, vintage rowing suits, and even international champions returning to the boats of yesteryear. Thus, the magic of this November weekend is recreated, with the SilverSkiff, KinderSkiff, and SilverVintage embodying all the poetry of sport and rowing.
